NastiDyne is the largest company to exist in known space. It can trace its origins to pre-confederation time, and now extends to most areas of the three galaxies and beyond.

The power and influence of NastiDyne is immense. They control a huge military force and numerous star systems. They have a monopoly in many areas of space, especially when it involves the manufacture of military hardware. They're often ruthless in their dealings and will stop at nothing to further their capitalistic drive.

Despite their nefarious tendencies, NastiDyne is responsible for bringing high technology to many worlds. Their biological research division was responsible for many of the advances in the nanoscopic robots found in most biological life forms. Without their involvement in the Galactic Wars, the Confederation victories would have not been certain.
